Do you use social networking sites? I am sure you do! Social networking sites are so popular that almost all the computer users access these sites. There are hundreds of social networking sites and it is really a time consuming process to keep track of all these sites. Nomee is a tiny Adobe AIR app, which acts as an all-in-one solution for sharing and following people on social networking sites. Nomee effectively aggregates social content and lets you organize, monitor, follow and share over 100 social networking web sites and even allows you to watch videos, pictures, tweets and the best part of this app is that all this happens in a single interface.

Nomee offers something called 'card'. A card contains several sites or services related to the person, like a Twitter stream, website, or a blog post.

Getting started

To start using Nomee, visit its official website and click the green colored 'FREE Download' button. Nomee works on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

Click the 'Install Now' button to install the app. Make sure you have latest version of Adode AIR installed on your system.

Wait for the installation process to complete. Upon launch, Nomee will ask you to register or to choose an existing account.

Once you are logged in, click the 'Browse' button to explore through different cards.

From the 'Browse for Nomee Cards' window, select the people categorized under different cards you'd like to follow. You can also use the search box to find people. Click the 'Add' button to add a person.

You can organize the people you follow into grouped feeds. With Nomee, you can get real-time alerts and direct links to all news. Nomee is a great piece of application, which offers plenty of features and it's hard to mention all of them in this post. Using Nomee is as simple as using an IM. The interface is very well designed and works without a hitch. I am sure it will save you a lot of time and effort!
