How to create glittery graphical blogs on the cloud

Glogster_100I spend a lot of my free time reading and writing blogs on my beloved Samsung NC20. Blogs are a great medium to express our views. The normal way of reading and writing blogs involves adding text and some images. Recently while digging through cloud based applications for my netbook, I came across Glogster.com, which redefines the blogging technique with a new concept, 'glog'.

How to use Google buzz from Gmail on the move

Google,Google Buzz, netbook, notebook,Twitter,FacebookSharing personal updates with hundreds of known and unknown people through Twitter on my notebook is a great pastime while traveling. I loved to do the same with my Google contacts too. But I was not very interested in Google Talk for the same. With Buzz, Google has filled that void. I have been checking out Buzz, which works like a combination of Twitter and Facebook. Let's explore Google Buzz here.

How to rate movies and share your views on the cloud

image1If you ask me about my favourite hobby, I'd say "watching movies"! I love watching movies, and ever since I got my Samsung NC20, I watch movies even on the go. Before I watch a movie, I'd surely check out its reviews to know what others think about the movie. I also rate and review movies to share my views about the movie with like-minded people. My favourite website to rate movies is IMDB, but recently I came across a similar website with additional features. It's Flickchart.

How to make the most out of your multiple Twitter accounts

hootsuite, twitter, facebook, linkedin, wordpress, schedule your tweets, ping.fm, tweetdeck, track twitter stats, rss feeds, Twitter is not just another micro blogging tool, it has now developed into a professional marketing application. It is easy to make most of your multiple Twitter accounts through desktop apps like TweetDeck. However, I found that Twitter desktop clients consumed a lot of processing speed and space of my netbook. So I decided not to struggle with hefty desktop apps anymore as HootSuite offers better tweeting experience and great features right from a browser.

How to enjoy 500GB free online space with active sharing and downloading options

filebox, 500GB storage space, adrive, skydrive, netbook, ssd, hard drive3, photos, videos, notebook, desktop, virtual hard drive I prefer my netbook and notebook to my desktop due to their portability. However, I still store my vast music collection on my desktop to avoid overloading the tiny hard drive of my netbook. If you are using one of those first generation netbooks with only SSD option, you still don't have to worry about storage, you can have a virtual hard drive Filebox with 500 GB space for free, which is much higher than a notebook's hard drive.

How to schedule your tweets with a free Twitter tool

socialoomph, social networking, twitter, facebook, facebook wall, schedule tweets, automate tweetsI recently read a shocking news about a young girl dying of electrocution in her bathtub while trying to catch up with her tweets. She had reached out to plug her charger with a wet hand. Weird! People are really getting crazy for Twitter and Facebook. A friend of mine was Facebooking at three in the night. I do share a passion for Twitter, but can’t ever imagine myself giving up sleep for Twitter. So I just schedule my tweets to be published at a later time with Social Oomph.

How to generate instant traffic and increase views by easy bookmarking

socialmarker, social bookmarking sites, stumble upon, digg, slashdot, wordpress, plug-in, social media, propeller, google, firefox, internet explorer, google chrome, bookmarking, newsSocial bookmarking websites are an excellent resource for news and I have my personal favorites such as Digg, Stumble Upon, and Slashdot. Although bookmarking in different websites takes a lot of time, it is an essential part of promoting your content online. It gives your website the much required exposure and increases the traffic. I too hated the hassle of submitting links to multiple websites earlier, but not anymore as SocialMarker can automate the process of bookmarking for me.
