How to get enormous free storage space online
Increased storage space on the cloud and my mini-notebook ensure that I no longer have to worry about copying my important files to my USB while travelling. I checked out Windows Live Skydrive, when I was looking for free online storage for storing and sharing my documents and photos. With my important files on the cloud, I can access my files from my desktop at home, laptop at work and my mini-notebook on the move. Check out Skydrive here!
It's easy to get started with Skydrive. If you have a Windows Live ID, you can easily sign in and start using Skydrive. Skydrive offers 25GB online storage.

You can create folders and upload files to these folders. You also have the option to share files with your friends and restrict usage. You can also make your folders public. I have created various folders with files and images I would like to share with my colleagues. I also have folders, which I have shared with family. Some of the files are restricted to myself.

You have the option of uploading files one after the other or you can install the upload tool to drag and drop your files to folders, which comes quite handy.

This allows you to upload a large number of files at one go. Please note that the file size per file is 50MB. This means that you may not be able to store those large video files.

You can also save your shortcuts to your favourite websites, which will be synced and shared using Windows Live Toolbar. Now I can access these shortcuts from any where.

Now I don't have to worry about losing data if lose my USB flash drive. I know I can always access it whether I am at my corporate office or at other locations, or at home. With such a lot of online space available, I don't have to worry about my data anymore.
